The VPL-CW255 BrightEra WXGA Widescreen 3LCD Projector from Sony is a high definition projector with a WXGA (1280 x 800) native resolution, which carries a 16:10 aspect ratio. The VPL-CW255 incorporates Sony's BrightEra 3LCD inorganic panel technology and features three brightness modes to suit individual user's needs: 4500, 3400, and 2500 Lumens. The low brightness mode generates lower operating costs by reducing power consumption and extending the recommended lamp replacement time to approximately 5000 hours. The projector also has a contrast ratio of 3700:1, a range of video inputs (including HDMI), as well as RJ45 and RS-232C connectors for control. NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals are also supported. This projector features an onscreen display with 23 languages and a power supply of 100 to 240 VAC 50/60 Hz. Additionally, this projector is compatible with Windows & Macintosh computers.
